Bushra is a certified childbirth educator, birth doula, and mother serving families throughout Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area.
Her journey into birth work began after becoming a mother, when she experienced firsthand the importance of informed decision-making and advocating for herself during labour to achieve the birth experience she desired. That experience inspired a deep passion for helping families navigate pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with knowledge, support, and trust in their own instincts.
Bushra provides individualized, evidence-informed support that honours each family’s unique values, goals, and vision for birth. She works with first-time parents, families navigating cesarean births, and those preparing for a VBAC. Her approach combines practical education, emotional support, birth preparation, advocacy-centred care, and traditional postpartum nourishment to support families every step of the way.
Bushra is also a Certified High-Risk Birth Doula and Certified Advanced VBAC Doula, allowing her to provide informed, compassionate support to families navigating more complex birth journeys.
Bushra serves families throughout Durham Region and the Greater Toronto Area, including Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Bowmanville, Scarborough, and Markham.
