As far back as Zainab can remember, she always wanted to choose a career that would help people care for their health. This passion for health, healing, and wellness was what predisposed her pursuit of Naturopathic Medicine. Her goal as an ND is to work with patients to help them get an understanding of their current state of health and work with them to improve their overall health and well being. Her parents immigrated from Afghanistan, and she was raised in Canada. She completed her honors bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto, majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. Thereafter she went on to study naturopathic medicine and graduated from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in May 2013. She is also a mother and homeschooler of 3 amazing children.

Zainab’s practice focuses on women’s health and wellness, which includes, but is not limited to helping women prepare for pregnancy, pregnancy, and postpartum concerns. Treatments include TCM (acupuncture and dry cupping), botanical medicine, physical medicine (such as massage and hydrotherapy, physical therapy), clinical nutrition, homeopathic medicine, dietary and lifestyle counseling.

Gerda grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and completed her physiotherapy degree with distinction at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2003. She started her career in the Neuro MusculoSkeletal field adding a diploma in Sports Rehabilitation to her credentials in 2006. She was a treasurer and provincial chairperson for the South African Society of Physiotherapy for a number of years. It was in an elite athlete clinic that her interest in Women’s health was first piqued. She obtained her Women’s health credentialing in 2012, the same year her first son was born. The family moved to the UK shortly after and then landed in Canada three years later.

She started at the World of My baby (WOMB) in 2018 and has been there since. She has expanded her peri-partum care to an interest in the peri-menopausal field and is qualified to fit pessaries.

She is passionate about furthering education and hosts the in-clinic placements for McMaster medical residents as well as giving guest lectures at the University itself.

Fatima is a medical doctor [MD] graduated from Dubai Medical College, UAE and a Homeopathic practitioner [HOM] graduated from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada. She is a registered member with the College of Homeopaths of Ontario and the founder of Live Well with Homeopathy.

In 2017 Fatima first started using Homeopathic medicine with the help of a senior Homeopathic practitioner to treat her then four-month-old daughter’s eczema. After seeing immediate and complete healing in her daughter she became intrigued by Homeopathy and wasted no time in getting herself enrolled to study at the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine. She has not looked back since!

She has found that Homeopathy is a safe and effective alternative medicine, and she is deeply passionate about giving her patients this alternative option to treat and heal their health issues. She has a special interest in working with Women and Children’s health issues.

Faryal graduated from McMaster University with a Masters in Physiotherapy. She is a rostered Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with a passion for helping women navigate their pelvic floor concerns and work towards a path of informed healing and improved quality of life. 

Faryal practices in-person at The Womb in Milton and virtually through Compass Rose Wellness Inc. in collaboration with UROSPOT. Her patient population includes mamas trying to progress through a healthy and informed pregnancy, mamas preparing for labour with goals of reducing risk of tearing and time spent in labour, and those who are postpartum (whether you delivered a few weeks ago or years prior)! Maria has always been an advocate for natural healing, wellness and integrative medicine. After graduating from the College of International Holistic Studies specializing in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Quantum Biofeedback, she continued to pursue her passion helping people on their road to recovery.

Nadia graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree. Niema Duri achieved her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from McMaster University. She is the founder of Postpartum Travel Nurses (PTN) and brings in 15 plus years of experience from The Hospital for Sick Children.

Niema is a proud mother of two, with a passion in maternal and newborn care. In addition to her expertise in pediatric health, Niema is a breastfeeding expert attaining her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) licensing and Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Certification.

Niema is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in pediatric care. Having worked at the renowned Hospital for Sick Children, Niema has gained invaluable experience and expertise in providing compassionate and comprehensive healthcare to infants and children.

Throughout Niema’s tenure at the hospital, she has demonstrated a deep commitment to the well-being of young patients and their families. With a life-long passion for health and wellness, Dr. Shamira Hudda earned an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in Health Studies, followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005. In addition to her degrees, she has completed certifications in Acupuncture, Orthomolecular Nutrition and Prenatal & Pediatric Chiropractic care.

Sr. Kulsoom Kazim is a life coach, counsellor, global speaker and author. She holds a Bachelors Degree in psychology from York University. A Islamic Degree from Mishkah University and she also served as the women’s chaplain at University of Toronto – Mississauga. She is also currently completing a program to become a Doctor in Traditional Islamic Medicine. She’s an Islamic studies instructor and inspires to spread the message of Islam with the various projects she is involved with.

Victoria Aasiya Qasim found her passion for lactation support through her work as a certified doula, where she witnessed firsthand the challenges many women face in accessing appropriate care and guidance. She was fortunate to be mentored by two highly respected IBCLCs in her community and is currently preparing for the IBCLC certification exam.

In addition to her doula certification, Victoria holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and has always been passionate about supporting young families. Yusra Siddiqui’s journey to becoming a pediatric sleep consultant began long before she launched her company, Finally Asleep. With an Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where she double majored in Human Biology and Health with a minor in Psychology, Yusra always had a deep interest in understanding how the mind and body work together. Her education continued with a graduate certificate in Clinical Research, equipping her with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and problem-solving.

But it wasn’t until she became a mother herself that Yusra truly understood the profound impact that sleep—or the lack of it—could have on a family’s well-being. As a mom to two young girls, she found herself overwhelmed by sleepless nights, struggling to find a rhythm that worked for her family.
