- Niema Duri
Niema Duri is a registered nurse with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from McMaster University and over 15 years of experience at The Hospital for Sick Children. She is the founder of Postpartum Travel Nurses (PTN) and a passionate advocate for maternal and newborn care. As a proud mother of two, Niema specializes in breastfeeding attaining her International BoardCertified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Certification. Her extensive experience in pediatric healthcare has equipped her to provide compassionate support to families, particularly during the postpartum period. Niema is dedicated to empowering mothers through exceptional home care services that promote their physical and emotional well-being, ensuring a positive postpartum experience.

- Gerda Hayden
Gerda is a highly skilled physiotherapist who takes pride in delivering holistic care. She keeps abreast of the latest evidence based research and applies this to clients. Her thorough, insightful and effective assessment enables the development of an integrated and comprehensive client centred treatment strategy. Gerda has been a physiotherapist for 12 years in South Africa, England and Canada.
Gerda will be speaking about “The role of the pelvic floor- what is it there for? And more!”

- Shamira Hudda
Dr. Shamira is a family chiropractor with over 19 years of clinical experience including in-house chiropractor at Canada Post and Peel Regional Police and working at offices across Ontario before joining Foundation Chiropractic in Oakville in 2020. She is one of a small number of chiropractors in Canada to be certified in prenatal and paediatric care and is thrilled to serve patients of all ages live healthy, vibrant lives.
Shamira will be talking about “Healthy Mama, Healthy Baby: The role of Chiropractic in during Pregnancy and in the First Year of Life.”
- Discuss the importance of pelvic alignment for a healthy pregnancy and delivery with less complications and interventions
- Explore the role of pediatric chiropractic care for infants with respect to birth trauma, feeding challenges, digestive concerns, motor milestones and neurodevelopment from 0-12months.
- Hina Mirza
Hina has over 20 years of experience as a writer, public speaker and mental health educator. She has a masters in Counselling Psychology with a focus on Islamic counselling and is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario. She specializes in implementing a positive model for healthy families with emphasis on relationship management and supports individuals and couples who are struggling through emotional, behavioral or relationship challenges. As a therapist, her aim is to create a warm and supportive environment where clients are enabled to seek positive change and growth, by framing treatment planning with cultural sensitivity, religious values and an awareness of individual needs.
Hina will be talking about “Maternal Mental Health.”
