This workshop is designed for new parents or parents-to-be, who are embarking on their journey of parenthood or navigating early years with their children.
The workshop will explore anticipated relationship challenges as the family grows, risks to the relationship as the couple dynamic shifts, self awareness and communication and learning the value of relationship satisfaction.
Couples will get the opportunity to discuss their fears, parenting goals and success criteria, as well as learn how to create healthy bonds within the growing family.
Led by Hina Mirza, Registered Psychotherapist and mental health educator, this workshop is an opportunity to create pathways towards building your family on the foundations of a meaningful marriage.

Speaker’s Bio:
Hina Mirza has over 20 years of experience as a writer, public speaker and mental health educator she has a masters in counseling psychology with the focus and Islamic counseling and is a registered psychotherapist in Ontario. She specializes in implementing a positive model for healthy families with emphasis on relationship management and supports individuals and couples who are struggling through emotional, behavioral or relationship challenges. As a therapist her aim is to create a warm and supportive environment where clients are enabled to seek positive change and growth, by framing treatment planning with cultural sensitivity, religious values and an awareness of individual needs.
