Heileen’s personal journey through birth complications, miscarriages, cesarean birth, and successful VBACs sparked her passion for becoming a Birth and Postpartum Doula. These firsthand experiences have given her deep insight into what expecting families truly need throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postpartum period. With over a decade of hands-on experience as an active Birth and Postpartum Doula, Heileen is honoured to have supported many women and their families in their pursuit of more meaningful and supportive birth and postpartum experiences.
As a Childbirth Educator, Heileen is committed to addressing each family’s unique needs. She is deeply passionate about offering families practical tools to build awareness, understanding, and trust in their decision-making. Drawing from traditional, mainstream, and alternative training, she shares knowledge in a way that supports holistic, informed choices aligned with each family’s beliefs, values, and circumstances.
To further serve families with care and sensitivity, Heileen is currently working toward becoming a Trauma-Informed Professional.
