Welcoming Baby is a one day, faith inspired course for women preparing for pregnancy, childbirth, and early motherhood. This immersive experience blends practical childbirth education with reflection, intention, and community support.
Designed for both first time parents and growing families, the course helps you prepare for the birth you desire while remaining an informed, active participant in your care. We explore the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of birth, including pain management options and navigating situations when birth does not go as planned.

Yes. The course is inspired by Islamic teachings and values, while remaining inclusive, practical, and grounded in evidence based education.
Do I need to be pregnant to attend?
No. Women who are thinking about starting a family or who want to prepare in advance are welcome.
Can I bring my infant?
Yes. Infants under 12 months are welcome. You will be asked to specify your infant’s age during registration.
Will breastfeeding and newborn care be covered?
Yes. We cover breastfeeding basics, common challenges, troubleshooting, newborn care, and caring for the new mother in the postpartum period.
What if I’ve had a difficult or traumatic birth before?
This course intentionally creates space to process past births, losses, or challenging experiences in a supportive and respectful environment.

How long is the course?
