As far back as Zainab can remember, she always wanted to choose a career that would help people care for their health. This passion for health, healing, and wellness was what predisposed her pursuit of Naturopathic Medicine. Her goal as an ND is to work with patients to help them get an understanding of their current state of health and work with them to improve their overall health and well being. Her parents immigrated from Afghanistan, and she was raised in Canada. She completed her honors bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto, majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. Thereafter she went on to study naturopathic medicine and graduated from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in May 2013. She is also a mother and homeschooler of 3 amazing children.

Zainab’s practice focuses on women’s health and wellness, which includes, but is not limited to helping women prepare for pregnancy, pregnancy, and postpartum concerns. Treatments include TCM (acupuncture and dry cupping), botanical medicine, physical medicine (such as massage and hydrotherapy, physical therapy), clinical nutrition, homeopathic medicine, dietary and lifestyle counseling.

Gerda grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and completed her physiotherapy degree with distinction at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in 2003. She started her career in the Neuro MusculoSkeletal field adding a diploma in Sports Rehabilitation to her credentials in 2006. She was a treasurer and provincial chairperson for the South African Society of Physiotherapy for a number of years. It was in an elite athlete clinic that her interest in Women’s health was first piqued. She obtained her Women’s health credentialing in 2012, the same year her first son was born. The family moved to the UK shortly after and then landed in Canada three years later.

She started at the World of My baby (WOMB) in 2018 and has been there since. She has expanded her peri-partum care to an interest in the peri-menopausal field and is qualified to fit pessaries.

She is passionate about furthering education and hosts the in-clinic placements for McMaster medical residents as well as giving guest lectures at the University itself.

Fatima is a medical doctor [MD] graduated from Dubai Medical College, UAE and a Homeopathic practitioner [HOM] graduated from the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine in Toronto, Canada. She is a registered member with the College of Homeopaths of Ontario and the founder of Live Well with Homeopathy.

In 2017 Fatima first started using Homeopathic medicine with the help of a senior Homeopathic practitioner to treat her then four-month-old daughter’s eczema. After seeing immediate and complete healing in her daughter she became intrigued by Homeopathy and wasted no time in getting herself enrolled to study at the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine. She has not looked back since!

She has found that Homeopathy is a safe and effective alternative medicine, and she is deeply passionate about giving her patients this alternative option to treat and heal their health issues. She has a special interest in working with Women and Children’s health issues.

Faryal graduated from McMaster University with a Masters in Physiotherapy. She is a rostered Pelvic Health Physiotherapist with a passion for helping women navigate their pelvic floor concerns and work towards a path of informed healing and improved quality of life.

Maria has always been an advocate for natural healing, wellness and integrative medicine. Niema Duri achieved her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from McMaster University. She is the founder of Postpartum Travel Nurses (PTN) and brings in 15 plus years of experience from The Hospital for Sick Children.

With a life-long passion for health and wellness, Dr. Shamira Hudda earned an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in Health Studies, followed by a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2005.
